Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday to me!
Today is a veeery special day... the birthday of Furiarossa, one of the creator of this blog! Her little
sister, Mimma, have drawn this to celebrate, with all the characters and
things that her big sis' likes! Isn't a super-cute thing?
Also, how much characters can you recognize? ;)
Also... someone gifted Furia with a very cool drawing:

Chibi Superheroes!
We are writing a book about superheroes where basically every Hannibal
character have a different power, but since it's for a writing contest
that can lead to publication, we can't use their proper names.
Here some chibi characters!
1. Half Italian, half Lithuanian, 100% awesome. Victor Lupis, aka Brainstorm aka the Evil Genius, aka another one hundred different names, is the supervillain which superpower is (theorically) an incredible intelligence. A little bit like Iron Man (that is my second favorite superhero!). And, of course, it's inspired by Hannibal Lecter.
Do you want a sticker (or another cool product) of our little Evil Genius? You can buy it on RedBubble HERE
2. This is the protagonist, Sheldon La Poer, freely (ok, heavily) inspired by Will Graham. Basically a Will Graham that have not only empathy, but also the power of reading inside people's minds.
If you want a sticker of mind-reader Will, you can buy it on RedBubble HERE
3. Margot Canterville and... well, we haven't decided a name for Alana's alterego in this AU yet XD. Do you have any suggestion about it?
Alana and Margot are the good girls and they'll fight vs Hannibal and Will, that are the supervillains. But it will go everything as expected? Hmm... I don't think so. It's a book inspired by Hannibal, so it will be all dubious morality and mind fights XD
If you want a sticker of this, you can buy it on RedBubble, HERE

Exoterism - Le Malanove
"Le Malanove" aka, Will's pack, with its original members (it will change composition during the narration of Exoterism). I wanted to draw all the wuffies comparing their human face with their wolf (or dog) face. Aren't they awesome?
(And how I'll manage to draw them always similar to themselves for the entire comic series? HOW? *crisis*)
The name of the pack is "Le Malanove", which means "The Bad News" in ancient Italian.

-This character is inspired by twitter account @ak_hannicat
-He's a purebreed white persian
-His first owner was killed by Hannibal and her name was Samuela
-He's the only cat in the world that Asdrubale doesn't want to hunt and kill
-The first appearance in the comic is at page 50

Biography:
She was born in Derry, Ireland, in 1885.
Her family was not rich, and since young age she learned
that life never gives anything free; she was an hard worker, helping
his father (a blacksmith) and mother with housework.
As a little girl, she wasn't social at all. In fact, she
much preferred wandering in the woods around Derry, than playing with
other children; she of course went to school and learned the basics,
but wasn't interested in pursuing a scholar career.
One day Ivy, as always, went for a walk in the woods,
when a group of kids started to bully her.
They threw little rocks and sticks at the girl, calling
her names.
Ivy, simply run ahead. She wasn't scared to get in a
fight, but they were many and she was one. She simply made the smart
decision to get away from a fight that she would have surely lost.
Survival isn't always about fight back. Sometimes it's also about
knowing when it's time to retreat.
Unfortunately, she didn't see the deep hole in the
ground (probably an old trap set by hunters), and she fell in. None
of the kids saw her going into the hole, and simply went away.
Ivy didn't break any bones (pure luck), but she passed
out until the night arrived.
Once she woke up, the girl tried to call for help as
loud as she could, but no one came to her.
While sobbing desperately, a wolf peeked from above the
hole.
She of course got scared, but the beast simply observed
her. It almost seemed that it was waiting for something. The eyes of
that wolf, its look, its mighty form, gave little Ivy courage and
strenght. So she started climbing the wall of dirt, holding onto
roots and bigger rocks to have a safer grasp.
When finally she got out, it was almost dawn. The wolf
was nowhere to be seen.
Ivy returned home, and from that night on she honored
nature and its creatures.
Years later, her parents died due to an horrible fire
that destroyed half of the town, along with lot of other people. She
was 23 back then.
Deciding that there was nothing left for her in Derry,
Ivy spent two years wandering around the country, learning by
herself how to survive in the forest (not because she couldn't find a
job, but she wanted to be in contact with nature and maybe, meet that
wolf again). She was interested no more in society and its nonsense
laws and rules. She only recognized one rule: survive. Naturally, she
wasn't a cruel predator: she was patient, indipendent, careful and
even mercyful in certain cases. If she saw a doe, with her just born
fawn, she simply left them alone.
Ivy had (and still has) great respect for life and its
unwritten rules: they could seem cruel, but it was simply how things
were. If a wolf kills a rabbit, it is only to feed itself and its
offspring. No cruelty, no malice, no sadism.
Now, man on the other hand. From simply ignoring society
and modern lifestyle, Ivy began to barely tollerate cities, big and
small, and their vices.
She would often sabotage the hunters' traps and weapons,
or ruined the senseless fox huntings, hosted by snobby, pretentious
rich men.
That wasn't natural. They were destroyng the fragile
balance of this world.
Hunting isn't wrong, unless you do it without respecting
the prey.
One night, she was as usual sabotaging another trap,
when the hunters surrounded her and captured her. Ivy got beaten and
raped by the men for a whole day; they kept her chained to a pole
outside their cabin, completely naked, without any food or water.
The night after her capture, when the men were asleep
after hours of drinking whiskey, Ivy saw something approaching her.
It was a wolf. The same wolf that gave her strenght to get out the
hole that night of many years ago.
The beast simply bit the chain, and with just one bite,
the girl was free.
There was no time to think about how in the world that
wolf could be able to break metal chains with his teeth, because she
immediately run into the forest, with the wolf behind her.
Once they were far enough, Ivy bowed before the animal,
thanking him for saving her. When she got up, though, she saw no
wolf. Only a man.
He was tall, with long, dark hair and beard. Two blue
eyes staring into her soul.
"Who...are you?" Ivy asked confused and tense.
"My mortal name was Robert, my child. So you may
call me that. I've observed you for years and years, until you grew
up into a woman. I saw you protecting nature and its balance,
neglecting the vicious life of city men and despise their arrogant
acts. You are the one I've chosen. Become more than a mere human.
Become the superior predator. But beware: your life will be damned.
No sunlight will touch your skin, your heart will beat no more, and
you'll need to hide your true colors to the mortals. So if you choose
this path, just know that you'll never be able to go back.
Become, my child. Become one with mother nature."
Something in his voice, his looks, his speech, convinced
Ivy.
"I accept."
And then there was darkness. When she came to her
senses, the young woman remembered the lustful bite that turned her
into a Cainite. A vampire.
She was starving, but her Sire, Robert, brought her back
to the hunters' cabin. And she ceded to her inner Beast.
The next day the newspapers talked about an horrible
fact: four huntsmen were brutally murdered by a very big animal, the
police supposed.
Ivy spent almost one hundred years with Robert, learning
that her vampire clan was called Gangrel, and so many other notions,
that it would take a life to learn them.
Once she was ready, Robert told her that she now was
free to wander wherever she liked. And so she did.
Modern Nights: After
visiting many places, getting into almost fatal fights, and doing
lots of interesting encounters, Ivy is currently in Baltimore, as the
Sheriff of the Camarilla group in the city. She couldn't care less
about their meaningless poltics and games. She simply accepted the
role because they needed protection. That's why she gained the
nickname "mother wolf".
She has a good relation with the Anarch group and deeply
hates the Sabbath one.
Her territory is vast: most of the parks in Baltimore
are under her control, and guards them. And any supernatural creature
who trespasses them without her permission, it's dead meat.
When she meets the pack of werewolves "Le
Malanove", she is understanding and careful, and offers them a
truce with the Camarilla. For all she cares, they can go and reduce
to ashes the Sabbath's Cainites, but not the ones she swore to
protect.
Disciplines (aka the vampiric powers):
-Protean: she can use animal features (such as claws and
perfect eye view) to attack and she can even transform into two
animal forms: a she-wolf and an owl. She is unbelievably strong, so
much that she could throw a big car or destroy a wall with a few
punches.
-Animalism: she can talk with animals and give them
orders. Normally, animals are scared of vampires, but whoever has
this power, becomes their friend or master.
-Fortitude: thanks to this power, Ivy can resist without
problems to most damages, such as bullets. But she can't resist to
sunlight and fire, of course.
Extras:
-She has a very nice singing voice, but never sings in
public.
-She is very protective. Sometimes too much.
-Calm, prudent, secure, humble, and wise.
-She has a great respect for life and its forms.
-Never understood fashion.
-She doesn't like to fly, and that is why she tends to
never use her owl form. Except if she's in danger, of course.
-When Ivy kills, she does it quickly. She is not a
sadist.
-She has a friendly relationship with Will Graham, as
she sees him as a young cub still learning how to live his new life.
She often gives him advices when needed.
-She doesn't give a damn about werewolves-vampires war.
She thinks it's just useless. They have enough enemies already, such
as other vampires, the Church and other supernatural creatures.

Asdrubale
I know... Asdrubale isn't an official NBC Hannibal character... but it's an important piece of my webcomic Exoterism, which is based on NBC Hannibal. So here is a page... all dedicated to him (and his interactions with the world...).
And here we have a reference sheet of his feral form (aka when he seems a dog), kindly drawn by Matt-Darkpaw

Will and Asdrubale together: Will Graham loves a lot his bigger dog, even if it's a weredog and if it seems that Asdrubale tried to kill Hannibal.
I just realized that the protagonists of our two webcomic are perfectly opposites: one is a vampire and the other is a werewolf. One has a cat-vampire and the other has a were-dog (plus seven other normal dogs).
So, Provolino vs Will and Micione vs Asdrubale.
The protagonists of my webcomic , humans and werewolves (and the weredog Asdrubale... and the plushie Yoshi XD).
Human form and quick reference sheet:
So, if every dog have a collar, why he doesn't have one? Here's the reason.
All we know about Asdrubale:
- He was adopted by Will when he was only a four months old puppy, abandoned at Graham's door by an ambulant cookers repairer.
- He is half labrador and half werewolf .
- He has a lot of brothers, but Will never saw one of them.
- His former name was "Daisy", then he was named by his new master "Asdrubale" because of his resemblance (or so Will said) with Hannibal (Hasdrubal, in Italian Asdrubale, was one of the brothers of the famous conqueror Hannibal)
- His auspice is "Ragabash": Ragabash, children of the darkest nights, often act as the scouts and spies for their packs, as well as offering their irreverent ideas
and alternative plans for their packmates’ consideration. But he is probably crazy, so his auspice is almost unrecognizable. - Hannibal calls him "Satan".
- His nails are black even in human form and the feet (and hands) are webbed.
- He can walk on metal and glass walls.
- He can't speak nor bark nor talk in every existing language (sign languages too).
- One time he had a collar bought by Hannibal. A very expensive collar. Then he destroyed it.
- The first page in which he appeared in the comic is THIS

The Great Dad Dragon
And what if Francis Dolarhyde had been captured, brought to the psychiatric hospital, cared for and rehabilitated? If instead of mental disorders and the murderous rampage had remained in him only a great passion for the fantasy? And what if Francis Dolarhyde had then married Reba McLane? And if they had three children?
Here's the Great Dad Dragon.

Marine AU - Our beloved mother
Illustration for an Hannibal AU co-created with
gabrielsangel
King Jack and his sons. He never accepted the death of his beloved wife, Bella (her real name was Phyllis, anyway), and sometimes he finds comfort in imagining that she is still with him and gives him advices... creating very awkward situations for his sons.
"To say that Will never got along with his father was a lie. The love between them was strong, as it was with him and his brothers, but where as his brothers only teased him for being the youngest, Will never had to look over his shoulder for them. They gave him privacy, his father always seemed to be watching him with a close eye.
Not just him, of course, but as he was the youngest, and the one everyone knew had a fascination with humans, Will always gained most of the king's attention.
It was not without cause, of course. The whole ocean knew what happened to their queen, the woman the king loved more than life itself. Humans were the cause. A bunch of fishermen had cast out a net that had entangled not only a school of fish, but three little mer-children who'd been playing nearby. The queen had rushed forward and broken them free, but her tail had been tangled in the net and she'd been pulled from the sea.
The kingdom mourned for months. The king barely said a word to anyone. Will and his brothers took solice in one another's company. Will, being the youngest, had spent the least amount of time with his mother… but he did remember her. How gently she'd held him, how soothing her voice was and, like his father, how powerful she was. A grand mermaid, loved by her people, feared by her enemies, respected by all. Even Warlocks, who normally took every effort to avoid merfolk-unless hungry, were known to pause in her presence and speak with grace to her.
Time had passed and while no one had "moved on" from her death, Will and his brothers', as well as the kingdom, had continued on with life, keeping their queen in their hearts and minds, but not letting the sadness hold them back.
The only one who constantly thought of her was the king himself. And while he stayed strong, he'd taken to a rather unusual practice of believing she was still there. Whether in spirit or essence, his sons' were unsure, but it wasn't exactly easy to address. Of course, they knew their mother was watching over them, but it was hard to see their father speaking to someone who wasn't there in person. Some of the sons wondered if they should speak to their father about it, but, from what Will had heard, that had often lead to lectures in which the king was address a portrait of their mother as though she were in the room with them, wait for a response and then turn back to his son for input. As a result, they'd accepted their father's actions, but often felt embarrassed for their mother, whom they knew would find such an act foolish. In fact, some of the boys wished her spirit would return to knock some sense into their father, but this was a thought they kept to themselves."

Fight Club
Mario and Wario... erm... Margot and Will fight club XD
In our RPG alternative universe (yes, the same in with Will is a werewolf) Margot and Will have a fight club.
Someone had to think about it ... a fight club could solve their problems. Allow to release tension, clarify misunderstandings.
Fighting to dispel the doubts.
The founders would be Will Graham and Margot Verger, the most "angry" between the characters. The third to join the club would be Hannibal, because he has discovered them seeing the bruises that led to the two sessions of psychoanalysis. Immediately after, the one who joins is Alana, but she would not fight with the boys, but only with Margot (until Freddie Lounds join the club, of course: then she will fight also with her. And Kade Purnell).
The other would be after, confusedly.
And at the end of the fight club would be the thing that unites them all, able to satisfy almost completely their thirst for blood. And Chilton would organize bets and earn a lot of money XD
Qualcuno doveva pur pensarci... un fight club potrebbe risolvere i loro problemi. Permettere di scaricare la tensione, chiarire le incomprensioni.
Combattere per dissipare i dubbi.
A fondarlo sarebbero Will Graham e Margot Verger, i più "arrabbiati" fra i personaggi.

Ask the alpha male part 3
So, If you have a question about this Hannibal alternative universe, or simply about werewolves, go ask here: askhannibalwolves.tumblr.com/a…
ASK! ASK! ASK!
Yeah, I'm back! Sorry for the really late reply to the questions, but I had so much things to do...
The question, done on Tumblr, was "Will likes to be a werewolf or has had problems to get used to his new condition?"
The right answer is "No, Will prefers to be a werewolf than a man. Humanity is so fragile..."
Yeah, I'm back! Sorry for the really late reply to the questions, but I had so much things to do...
The question, done by
marillon954 , was "Lycan Will likes children?"
The right answer is "He's incredibly paternal". Special featuring of one of my OC's, Provolino (yeah, the bald child XD)
